a sign of spring

Wow! I didn't expect to be absent from here for so long! Thank you to everyone for your New Year wishes. I hope 2009 has been a good year for you so far, and I look forward to sharing more photos with you again.

A couple of weeks ago, we got our cameras out for the first time in several weeks, and stopped by a small temple famous for its Japanese plum trees, which had started to blossom. It's been rather chilly since then but spring is most certainly just around the corner.
