To answer Bookfool and Laurie's question about the tree in the previous picture, colours of autumn, it's simply a preparation for winter. Tokyo doesn't really get much snow nowadays but the idea is that the ropes would prevent the snow from sitting directly on the branches weighing them down, perhaps causing them to break. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I still have a lot to learn so I really appreciate all your comments and suggestions. It may take me a while but I will try my best to return the visit.
